BOSTON - Josh Beckett dealt and the Cleveland Indians folded.
That's last night's ALCS opener in a nutshell.
That, and David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez continuing to get on base as if the major league playoffs were slow-pitch softball.
Boston's third and fourth hitters were on base 10 times last night and have reached 29 times in four postseason games, all Red Sox victories.
Ortiz and Ramirez have scored 12 runs in the playoffs, including two each last night when the Red Sox hammered the Tribe, 10-3, at chilly Fenway Park to take a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.
