SEOUL Oct. 12 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's power monopoly Korea Electric Power Corp. (KEPCO) said Friday it has signed a preliminary deal with a Nepalese state-run electricity firm to build a hydroelectric power plant in Nepal.Under the deal signed in Katmandu, the capital of Nepal, with Nepal Electricity Authority, KEPCO plans to build a hydroelectric power plant and push for bilateral cooperation in the field of electricity, the company said in an e-mailed statement.The project is the first in which KEPCO will tap into overseas hydroelectric power plant markets, according to the statement.KEPCO ...
