Walt Weiss remembers the words, and "evil" was at the top of the list.
Eric Young remembers the faces, and they were filled with fear.
Rich Donnelly remembers the sudden illnesses, diseases that didn't even exist.
All were talking about the "old" Coors Field and the effect it had on opposing pitchers.
"You saw it in (batting practice)," said former Rockies infielder Eric Young, who hit the team's first home run, then at Mile High Stadium, before playing three seasons at Coors Field.
"Our guys were hitting moon shots and they were intimidated. They didn't want to pitch here."
