A DELEGATION of householders attended Tuesday night's meeting of Magherafelt District Council to oppose plans for the redevelopment of Highfield Service Station in Magherafelt.
Thirty-one residents have signed a petition opposing the re-development of the existing filling station, incorporating an additional site at Highfield Crescent/Road.
Residents are understood to have particular concerns about access at the rear of the proposed complex on the Moneymore Road.
They are concerned the residential road at Highfield Crescent will be used for large delivery vehicles.
