Newcastle United's Steven Taylor says he is learning to lead England's Under-21s by example.
Taylor will captain Stuart Pearce's side against the Republic of Ireland in Cork tonight as they look to extend their 100 per cent record in the European Championship qualifiers.
The 21-year-old was handed the captain's armband by Pearce in August.
Taylor said: "It's a massive honour. I've been lucky enough to work closely with three great England captains and learn from them all.
