TOLEDO, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 8, 1995--Plans for a new joint venture float glass manufacturing facility in Colombia were announced today by Owens-Illinois, Inc., (NYSE: OI) and Guardian Industries Corp. A state-of-the-art float glass plant will be constructed in Colombia at a capital cost of approximately $130 million. The new plant will have a melting capacity of about 500 metric tons of float glass per day.
