PLANS to build a "substantial" three-storey factory in the Eastfield area which could boost the number of jobs at a firm by 40 have been given the go-ahead.
The application submitted by William Hare Ltd in Dunslow Road was approved unanimously by Scarborough Council's planning and development committee.
It would mean the new building being linked to existing works at first floor level by an enclosed footbridge.
