PERKINS boss Alex Brown is planning to plug the defensive leaks in a bid to preserve his side's lofty league position.

The city outfit are currently top of the Premier Division table and romped to a 10-3 win at rock-bottom Oundle on Saturday.

But Brown insists it is the number of goals conceded rather than the many scored which are a causing him a concern.

Brown said: "We only conceded one goal in two games against top teams like Whittlesey and Hampton, yet we have since let in seven against lesser sides Alconbury and Oundle.

"To be fair two of Oundle's goals were top drawer efforts, but we obviously need to knock conceding so many on ...
