NEW YORK - The future direction of Bidermann Industries USA remained unclear Tuesday, following Monday's surprise announcement of a shift in top management.
As reported, the board of the apparel manufacturer - whose lines include the licensed Ralph Lauren Womenswear as well as Arrow shirts, Gold Toe socks and Yves Saint Laurent men's wear - announced late in the day that Michel Zelnik had left as president and chief executive officer, that corporate turnaround firm Alvarez & Marsal had been engaged and that Bryan Marsal, a founding managing director of Alvarez & Marsal, had. been named to replace Zelnik.
