AN AUDACIOUS adventurer has written his name into the history books by becoming the first man ever to land and sleep on all 162 of the islands off the coast of Scotland.
Full Sutton's Andy Strangeway completed his task last week, four years after beginning the challenge.
Armed with his one-man tent and his teddy bear, Clyde, he has braved unpredictable weather, huge sea swells and extreme weather conditions.
The 42-year-old has visited all the lesser-known islands as well as the Hebrides, the Orkney Isles and the Shetland Isles.
