This statement is further to the announcement made on 9 October 2007, in which
Chemring Group PLC ("Chemring" or "the Group") confirmed that an incident had
occurred at its Simmel Difesa factory in Colleferro, Italy.
At the time of the incident Chemring announced that a full and immediate
investigation had been launched into the cause and implications of the
incident. The investigation continues into the cause of the ignition, the
resulting fatality and the injuries to two other employees. ...
