Civil Service v Blagdon Park
BLAGDON continued their impressive late run in the penultimate game of the Northumberland League Division One against Civil Service on Saturday.
The start was temporarily delayed in order to accommodate whippet racing taking place at the Wallsend Sports Centre.
However, with Civil Service electing to bat, the Blagdon bowlers were soon off the leash and running.
Tallantyre (3-30) managed to get the ball to swing from the start, and cunning variation in pace saw him dismiss the top-order batsmen.
