AN Alnwick driver hit a parked car whilst more than four times the legal alcohol limit.
Alnwick Magistrates Court was told that Ian Joseph Dundas scraped the side of an Audi on Howling Lane in the town on June 4.
Dundas, 49, of Westgate House, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol when he appeared in court last week. He had previously admitted a charge of careless driving.
James Long, prosecuting, told the court that Dundas's vehicle had collided with the Audi at 2.50pm.
