PUPILS, parents and teachers across the district were celebrating last week when the GCSE results were published.
Results from the local board, CCEA, were delivered on Tuesday while the results from the English boards were released on Thursday.
And once again local schools are reporting another momentous year for their pupils.
Mr Ian Russell, Principal of Banbridge High School said he was delighted with the results.
He said: "Our A Level students attained an excellent 93 per cent pass rate and many of them are heading on now to university. We congratulate the and wish them every success.
