AN ANTIQUES dealer who specialises in art deco is preparing to move to Batley as he celebrates his 25th year in business.
Muir Hewitt set up Art Deco Originals in Halifax in 1982 and is marking its silver jubilee by relocating to Redbrick Mill next month.
Muir's collection includes tableware and decorative ceramic items by the Pottery Ladies, Clarice Cliff, Susie Cooper and Charlotte Rhead, as well as mirrors, wall plaques and lamps and period funiture.
"I am very excited about the move to Redbrick because I feel this will be an opportunity for customers to come along and see for themselves what Art Deco Originals has to offer," said Muir.
