HE MAY be 42 years old, carrying an extra pound or two and definitely lacking in match fitness, but Brandywell boss, John Robertson came out of retirement at Inver Park on Wednesday night against Larne in an effort to sort out Derry City's failure to hit the net over recent matches!
And with the ex-Scottish international assuming what had been an accustomed striking role during the final five minutes in this friendly fixture against Larne - donning a pair of sparkling white boots into the bargain - he may well have made his first poor decision in his tenure as manager of the 'Candy Stripes!'
