Hayling Island has scooped two regional Market Town Awards for projects that have shone a light on the island's main attractions.
The first project was for a DVD postcard that promoted all the visitor attractions on the island. It was the idea of the Market Town Initiative 'Hayling's Best' and was produced by local filmmaker Robin Walton who gave his time for free.
The film is in two sections, with the first part entitled Hayling - Secret Island of the Holy Grail examining the ancient past and the legacy of the Roman and Norman invaders.
