Changes in waste collection days that will save local tax payers [pounds sterling]100,000 a year, are being planned by Huntingdonshire District Council.
However the only change - which kicks off on September 10 this year - will be to the day residents' bins are collected.
The current principle of grey and green bins being collected on the same day of alternate weeks, so food waste can be put into either the grey or green bin in hot weather, will be retained.
Recycling blue bins and boxes will continue to be collected on alternate weeks as they are at present.
