LITTLE fighter Caitlin Fleming has battled through the second of three high-risk heart operations to save her life.
The ten-month-old tot was born with a rare condition called hypoplastic left heart syndrome - which means a valve releasing blood was too narrow, causing the left side of her heart to shrink and shut down.
The Express told her story in March when she had been rushed to hospital for the first of the three-stage operation - and pulled through, despite picking up a host of complications including bronchilitis and a wound infection.
