A HISTORIC bridge in Castleford is to be celebrated during this year's Heritage Open Days.
Castleford's three-arched bridge over the River Calder - which will be 200 years old next year - has been nominated by the town's Civic Trust for the event, from September 6-9, which recognises the country's outstanding architecture and culture.
