The famous Ryder Cup
trophy, fought over by the best golfers in
Europe and the United States every two years, is coming to Lancashire.
The Ryder Cup trophy will be on view at the grand opening of the Oak Royal Golf and Country Club in Withnell on Saturday.
Sandy Jones, chief executive of the PGA, will be performing the opening ceremony at the new nine-hole course.
And he is bringing the Ryder Cup along, offering fans the chance to have their pictures taken with it for charity.
"It promises to be a superb day," said Oak Royal spokesman Charles Downes.
