Buyout costs [pounds sterling]10 million in extra fees

A Lancashire support service giant Enterprise plc has announced pre-tax profits of [pounds sterling]25m despite having to pay out [pounds sterling]10m in extra costs over the past year.

The firm, which employs more than 1,300 people at its head office on Centurion Way, Leyland, revealed it had to pay [pounds sterling]3m in reorganisation fees after completing a management buyout to take the firm private with a further [pounds sterling]7m consumed by adjustments in contract issues.
