The Ark of Refuge understands the necessity of sustaining hope for everyone affected by the HIV epidemic. Since 1988, the Ark of Refuge has been effectively reaching out through a multi-denominational approach to challenge and overcome the individual and institutional barriers, which discourage or prevent underserved populations from accessing vital services. The Ark of Refuge is a powerful example of how a faith-based organization can incorporate spirituality into a holistic approach towards health, educational and psychosocial services.
