FORMER Fox Cup winner Fred Healey, of Uckfield, fishing a 48-hour session at Milton Pan Lake on the Mid Kent Fisheries complex, has again been among the specimen tench.
Fishing with maggots at 40 yards range and ground baiting with dead maggots and hemp, Fred caught a total of 15 tench that included fish of 10lb 2oz 8dr, 10lb, 9lb 1oz and 8lb 15oz.
"The only trouble with baiting with maggots was that it drew the eels and I caught 26 of them to 3lb," reported Fred.
Luke Hopper, 15, of St Leonards, fished his local Buckshole Reservoir to catch a mirror carp 31lb 9oz. Also fishing the lake, Adam Clarke, 15, caught mirror carp to 24lb 12oz and 15lb ...
