Cross-examination of Fred van der Vyver, on trial for the murder of his girlfriend Stellenbosch student Inge Lotz, gathered momentum in the Cape High Court today.
After a two-year decision to remain silent, Van der Vyver took to the stand earlier this week.
Asking the first question this morning, State advocate Carine Theunissen asked whether Van der Vyver had been involved in the preparation of his trial, he replied that he had been.
