NEW YORK - Saks is in full event mode. The retailer's men's store in Washington, D.C., hosted an Aprs Ski Party with Details magazine last month, where live models reenacted the joys of ski lodge living (steamy hot tub, anyone?) and denim designers Chip & Pepper Foster kept it real in T-shirts and jeans.
Up I-95, made-to-measure tailors took over the 6th floor of the retailer's Fifth Avenue flagship where Scabal auctioned off suit fabric inspired by Salvador Dali, and Oxxford vice-president and model Scott Ruerup showed off a drool-inducing Confederate motorcycle.
