NEW YORK - National Jean Co. opened its first store in 1992 on Long Island and, 15 years later, has become a leading go-to denim store for customers in the Northeast, 13 stores strong.

And now the steady expansion continues with the opening of the company's first Manhattan store, on Third Avenue and 78th Street.
