Some of the best deer hunters in Central New York stink.
Others who get their deer year after year are squeaky clean.
What gives?
Many hunters - bow and gun hunters alike - make use of strong-smelling products that mask their human scent, serve as hormonal-based attractants or simulate food or plants that catch a deer's fancy or get its guard down.
