SKEGNESS Waterway could be in danger of closing if nobody takes it over from East Lindsey District Council.
ELDC has put the Waterway, which it usually operates, up for tender but nobody has come forward.
What may be putting potential operators off taking on the business is the special license needed from the Maritime Agency to run the current boats.
But ELDC communications officer James Gilbert said other types of boat could be operated on the Waterway without needing the license, which would curb this extra expense.
