SEX workers, including those operating in Fenland, are giving vital information to the police team trying to break the sex-trafficking trade in Cambridgeshire.
The established sex workers have told police working on Operation Radium that they too want to help young girls being held prisoners as sex slaves by criminal gangs working in the county.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Fullwood, who is leading the operation, said: "The women who have been in touch with us see and hear things that other people wouldn't.
"Their information as 'insiders' is very important to the intelligence-gathering and preparation side of Operation Radium."
