POLICE are considering using special powers to disband gangs of yobs who hang around one of Peterborough's most troubled neighbourhoods.
Officers are proposing to establish a dispersal order in the Hampton Court area of Westwood after noticing a rise in crime and yobs hanging around the parade of shops.
The move, which will prevent gangs of troublemakers returning to the area for 24 hours, is just one of a raft of measures being introduced by police to combat crime in the Westwood and Ravensthorpe area of the city.
