ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The Upstate Cellular Network, the cellular joint venture between Frontier Corporation and NYNEX, has completed the acquisition of a 41 percent general partnership interest in New York State's RSA 4 and has begun to provide service in this central Finger Lakes region.

Combined with the 13 percent interest contributed by Frontier to the joint venture, Upstate Cellular Network (UCN) now owns a 54 percent interest in the property.
