DHFL Q2 net up 41 pc, mulls raising fresh capital in Q4

Mumbai, Oct 22 (PTI) Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (DHFL) today recorded a 41.38 per cent surge in net profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 at Rs 16.16 crore as against Rs 11.43 crore during the same quarter a year ago.

The company, though currently sitting on a 17 per cent capital adequacy ratio (CAR), may raise fresh capital in the last quarter of the current fiscal to fuel growth, DHFL's Chief Financial Officer Prashant Chaturvedi told PTI here.
