A review of recent cardiac studies reveals that researchers have been exploring new ways to more accurately predict cardiac risk. Using certain tests and models, doctors are better equipped to determine whether you're at risk of cardiovascular disease and what your chances are of having a heart attack or dying if you already have CVD.
