SANDWICH chain Subway has announced plans to open four more outlets in Peterborough.
It will bring the number of shops trading under the Subway banner in the city to six and will create an extra 60 or 70 jobs.
The new store will open in the former premises of photographic retailer Jessops in Cowgate.
Subway Realty has acquired the premises on a 15 year lease at a rent of [pounds sterling]23,500 per year with the firm occupying the ground floor. It is Subway's third outlet in the city, the others being on Westgate and Lincoln Road.
