LONDON, October 24 /PRNewswire/ -- In line with a global trend, Europe's financing needs for public infrastructure projects will climb significantly over the next 20 years. Siemens Financial Services (SFS), using global-insight data for the sectors of healthcare, energy, transport and water, has determined that Europe-wide investment needs will total 4 trillion EUR over this period. Interviews with 400 public financial decision makers in six core European countries showed that investments in the healthcare system received the highest priority among 51 % of respondents - followed by energy (24 %), transport (18 %) and water (9 %).
