A member of a top 1970s band is returning to Preston for the first time in 32 years.
In 1975 the Bay City Rollers ruled the British airwaves - and Preston banned them from the Guild Hall.
Now former Rollers singer and guitarist Eric Faulkner - currently a solo singer with a band of his own - will finally return to the city for an appearance at a Preston Labour Club.
Ken Marland, entertainment manager at Greenlands Labour Club in Chatburn Road, Ribbleton, said Eric's appearance on Friday December 7 and Saturday December 8, is a real coup.
He said: "We reckon at least 70% of the crowd are going to be dressed up in tartan. It is going to be a massive event."
