GIVEN THE PRESENT OCCUPANTS of the White House, it's no surprise that conspiracy and whistle-blower pictures are making such a brisk comeback; Nixon's nutty pathologies--which fueled the last wave of conspiracy films--seem in comparison almost endearing.
