NEW YORK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 12, 1995--The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. today charged in Federal Court that a book destruction company, its principal and certain employees, six used book wholesalers, two used book brokers and related parties illegally diverted McGraw-Hill professional and college books, originally intended for destruction and paper recycling, into the used book market.
McGraw-Hill seeks to amend(1) earlier civil litigation, The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. vs. Guaranteed Destruction Inc. et al., initiated December 21, 1994 in U.S. District Court in Newark, N.J. It increases the number of defendants and seeks recovery of unspecified damages ...
