INTERFAX-CHINA - Approximately 57 percent of residents in six of China's largest cities experienced insomnia at some point last year, over half of whom have suffered from the condition for over a year, according to the results of a survey revealed at the China's Sleep Medical Forum, domestic media yesterday.

The research into insomnia among the general urban populace was conducted last year in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Tianjin and Hangzhou, and found that residents of Guangzhou City have the highest rate of insomnia at 68 percent, the Yangzi Evening News reported. ...
