HARDWICK Florence Idell (Brown) Hood passed away Saturday evening, October 20, surrounded by her family in her home in Hardwick, Massachusetts. She and her husband Richard Hood had recently moved to Hardwick from Kerrville, Texas, to be close to their family, especially their beloved grandchildren. Florence and Richard lived in many different communities during their 48-year marriage. Florence was well loved everywhere she went.
Florence was born on April 2, 1939 in Houston, Texas to Oliver Edward ("O.E.") Brown and Alice Burt Brown. She graduated from Milby High School in 1957, and attended Sam Houston State Teachers College in Huntsville, Texas. She was married ...
