ROCKVILLE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 13, 1995--Loral Federal Systems-Air Traffic Control, a division of Loral Corporation (NYSE:LOR), has been awarded a contract valued at $17.6 million from the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to maintain an advanced air traffic control system recently developed and installed by Loral.
Under the 24-month contract, Loral will provide system maintenance and services at four Civil Aeronautics Administration air traffic control centers: the Taipei Area Control Center (TACC), which controls high altitude en route air traffic; and the Chiang Kai-shek, Taichung, and Kaohsiung terminal and tower control centers, which provide ...
