You've probably heard the ads for HD radio touting "stations between the stations." It's part of a 8250-million campaign by an alliance of radio stations and retailers to sell you on technology that some believe will save the industry. But there are a number of industry observers who think HD radio will be relegated to the technological trash heap along with 8 tracks and Betamax.
