When Oaks Christian of Westlake Village started its girls' golf program five years ago, La Reina of Thousand Oaks had already won a combined four titles in the Channel and Frontier leagues.
The collection of talent the Lions assembled compared to La Reina's roster looked like a group of recreational miniature golfers being matched against the United States' Solheim Cup team.
