DENVER - Ten postseason victories down, one to go for another world championship.
Daisuke Matsuzaka pitched and hit the Red Sox to an early lead, then Boston held on through some scary middle innings to beat the Colorado Rockies last night, 10-5.
The victory, in Game 3 of the 2007 World Series, means that the Sox can sweep the Rockies and win their second championship in four years - and seventh in franchise history - with a victory here tonight.
Matsuzaka got the win to improve to 2-1 for the postseason. He has won his last two starts.
