Jefferies hired a senior vice president and three managing directors from Wachovia for its consumer and retail investment banking group. The additions are part of the firm's efforts to bulk up its consumer sector presence as well as its new office in Charlotte, NC.
Ryan Fischer came to Jefferies as a senior vice president concentrating on food industries. He previously spent seven years as a director in Wachovia's investment banking division.
Grant Rice joined as a managing director focusing on food and beverage deals. He was most recently head of Wachovia's food and beverage investment banking group.
