Rye Harbour lifeboat crew faced the situation of how to get badly injured people off a boat on Sunday.
The training exercise put the crew through their paces as they dealt with a medical emergency evacuation scenario involving boats colliding on the River Rother.
One of the casualties was partially sighted, with chronic hearing difficulties and suffering from confusion, and the other suffering a potential spinal injury.
