DENVER - Now, when history repeats itself, the refrain is one of celebration, not condemnation.
Same old Red Sox.
And so the team without a world championship for nearly a century now has two in the span of four baseball seasons, the latest the result of a 4-3 victory over the overmatched Colorado Rockies last night in Game 4 of the World Series. Once, the world had to endure political and industrial revolutions between Red Sox championships. Now, the process requires about the same time as earning a college degree.
