An automation system for moulding syringe pistons to be shown by Demag Plastics Group on stand 15 C05 runs on an IntElect 210/580-1000 210 tonnes electric machine with a 48 cavity mould cycling at under 12 seconds. The system comprises a robot, an optical quality inspection station and a packaging system for fully automatic operation, with multiple laminar-flow modules from Max Petek Reinraumtechnik.
