Jun. 3--Two agribusinesses say they will form a joint venture to build two cotton gins in Southeastern Virginia by fall 1996. One would be south of the James River - the fifth gin built or planned for that area - and the other would be in the Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck region, the first gin for that area in memory.
Partners in the venture are Southside Gin Inc. of Emporia, which opened Virginia's first gin in recent times in 1991, and Alliance Agronomics of Mechanicsville, which sells seed, chemicals and fertilizers and buys and sells peanuts in Virginia and North Carolina.
